Inspiration
My backyard shoreline with a view
of Hearding Island
Drawing
Digital line drawing created in Illustrator and printed to use as a template for piecing.
Piecing
Cutting and assembling pieces of hand-dyed fabric.
I use tweezers place pieces with precision.
Topstitching
Each piece of fabric is topstitched in place with coordinating thread colors.
Finished
It's so satisfying to go from fragmented pieces to a united whole!
