The Seven: Women of Enduring Vision White Bear Center for the arts
Join me inside the Fine Arts Center gallery at the Minnesota State Fair, where I will be taking over Studio:HERE for an 11-hour live residency.
Because my fabric collages normally take months to complete, I am pre-building the background layer of blooming crab apple branches with embroidered details. Visitors can look over my shoulder to watch a Purple Finch come to life as I cut and assemble fabric scraps throughout the day, culminating in a final evening fusing before closing time..
